Opium Poppies North Fife

Opium Poppies North Fife, it seems once one recognises them, they can be found everywhere. Indeed they are grown commercially to provide the pharmaceutical industry.

I touched on the subject before.

Interesting, I've noticed them too in Fife, and other places. I'm aware the pharm companies grow them down south, but up in Fife? Surely the cold weather would produce an inferior quality of opium?
It would make sense though. I stay in Glasgow and rarely, if ever, see them in people's gardens. Once through in Fife though I start spotting them everywhere. If you put your nose right up to the pod you can actually smell the opium, it's a beautiful, otherworldly smell.
