The rich rural scenery of North Fife, Scotland, provides variety from the historic city of St Andrews and the quaint harbours of the East Neuk of Fife. A Royal Palace in Falkland, a Folk Museum in Ceres, a National Trust Mansion House near Cupar, Balmerino Abbey, Lindores Abbey, Newburgh, Dunbog, Glenduckie, Creich, Birkhill, Ballinbreich, Abdie, Upper Flisk and more in beautiful North East Fife. Also the occasional wander.

The River Tay March 6th
The River Tay March 6th. A grey dull day with occasional rain and thankfully not snow. This is being a long long winter, heating costs are up, the ducks and hens are reluctant to lay, the soil has been too hard to dig in preparation for spring planting and sowing. Oh wow is us, though it's just the continual play of weather. No year is ever the same. When the warm weather comes there will be a huge snow melt in the Tay catchment area and if it coincides with a spring tides there will be flooding, big style.
