The River Tay March 14th

The River Tay March 14th looking West North West into Perthshire over Carpow. Where the Rivers Earn and Tay meet an amazing discovery was made a few years ago now. Namely an Ironage logboat. All of Scotland has history but this particular area seems super rich. about a mile upstream from Carpow is Abernethy once the Pictish Capitol of Scotland.

The view of the river Tay disappears on the wee road past Loch Mill on the way to Auchtermuchty and is supplanted by views of the howe of fife intermixed with these wonderful avenues of hedgerow trees which when in leaf are light dappled green tunnels.
