Newburgh Gardens May 2010

Newburgh North Fife is well known for it's fruit trees, many introduced by monks from Lindores Abbey 700 years ago.

This pear tree is only 5 feet tall yet produces a tremendous amount of conference pear fruit every year. Most flowers will bear fruit.

Also in Newburgh is this Ornamental Maple, flush with new leaves. I love the vibrant colour.
