Flisk Garden North Fife May 2010

Today in the garden at Flisk North Fife. The cockerel struts his stuff, spring is in fullness and it is very pleasantly warm.

Welsh Poppies

Orpingtons Wellsummer X.

Orange Tip Butterfly, only in the last 2 years of 30 has this really attractive butterfly been evident around my home.

Dandelion seedhead, this is the first flush of a very prolific weed, attactive anywhere but in ones own garden it has its downside.

What an incredible blossom. I am not at all familiar with this plant, but it sounds like one I would like to get to know better.

You'll just have to aquaint yourself.
