Newburgh Floods North Fife

The river Tay as it was at spring tide on the 30th March. It seemed that much of the crops would be lost but by dint of application a pump was installed, running for a few days it removed the bulk of the water. Phew!

One of the old salmon fishing station bothy's marooned by the flood.

A large diesel pump draining the fields at blackearnside, Parkhill.

Making new the dyke which was breeched on the last spring tide.
All done and dusted and the fields reclaimed.
