North Fife Garden Produce

Here in North Fife it's almost the end of the growing season, though I'm frequently surprised each each year just how long that can be. The tomatoes ended a few weeks ago but there are still beans and potatoes to harvest.

The nasturtiums are still hanging on but will be killed outright with a hard frost.

The bramley apples amazingly remain attatched in spite of the recent high winds and become a spendid eating apple when left this long on the tree.

The corriander goes on for ever and produce plentiful seeds which we find an excellent flavouring when chopped green and added to Indian and spiced cooked food.

The cabbages just get bigger along with the plentiful garden sprouts.
