At last there's the feel of summer, much warmer, flowers abound, everywhere is really green. The sun shines intermittently through the cloud blessing us all.

Looking East to the Sidlaws, notice the clouds. Ordinary Nimbus.

To the South a different kind of Nimbus,  Asperatus Clouds (Undulatus asperatus) my head can be often in the clouds but this kind is not frequent.

Clouds North Fife August 12th

Shower over Newburgh North Fife. This weather has been going on for quite a while, dramatic skyscapes, heavy but short downpours countered with warm sunny interludes. Not unpleasant but frustrating for farmers with grain to be harvested.

August 12th. Wonderful cloud formations over Dundee and the River Tay, full of energy and on the boil.

We still bask in a wonderful summer though right on the edge of a low pressure area which give very occasional showers, not enough to really water the garden but heh who's complaining, the days are good.
