The rich rural scenery of North Fife, Scotland, provides variety from the historic city of St Andrews and the quaint harbours of the East Neuk of Fife. A Royal Palace in Falkland, a Folk Museum in Ceres, a National Trust Mansion House near Cupar, Balmerino Abbey, Lindores Abbey, Newburgh, Dunbog, Glenduckie, Creich, Birkhill, Ballinbreich, Abdie, Upper Flisk and more in beautiful North East Fife. Also the occasional wander.

Old Rumtek Sikkim
Old Rumtek Monastery perched on the mountain side just below Karmapa's main seat in Sikkim, the prayer flags on the bottom left mark the perimeter of New Rumtek. The valley shrouded in cloud is a mile deep to the river below. I have fond memories of driving H.H.16th Karmapa from new to old monasteries for a picnic with three of the regents. Wonderful days, a while ago now, along the way small fires on the roadside burned incense as people bowed in obeisance to H.H.16th Karmapa, Shamar Rinpoche, Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche and Gyaltsab Rinpoche as we passed by.
