Newburgh Action Group (N.A.G.) has joined forces with the Tayside Institute Community Centre (T.I.C.C) to stage their 3rd Annual Scarecrow Festival.
This year's theme is "Nursery Rhymes and Fairy Tales" and event organisers hope that the local community will get their thinking caps on to produce a wonderful display of scarecrows for both residents and visitors alike to enjoy. You can see for yourself in the posts below. Wind damage caught some of them but many have survived intact.

Just drove through Newburgh this afternoon and thought the scarecrows were absolutely wonderful !! So did the kids..well done a really great spectacle!
fantastic effort from all the competitors. brightened up my day. well done .... look forward to next years scarecrows.......
I work for Fife council in Newburgh at weekends and thought the scarecrows were all great looking,well done to everyone.
