H.H.16th Karmapa performs Black Hat Crown Ceremony at Samten Ling Retreat Centre Rumtek Monastery in 1978 on his return from a European tour. Those in retreat remained withdrawn and out of sight but would have heard the music special to the black hat.reproduction only with permission.
