The rich rural scenery of North Fife, Scotland, provides variety from the historic city of St Andrews and the quaint harbours of the East Neuk of Fife. A Royal Palace in Falkland, a Folk Museum in Ceres, a National Trust Mansion House near Cupar, Balmerino Abbey, Lindores Abbey, Newburgh, Dunbog, Glenduckie, Creich, Birkhill, Ballinbreich, Abdie, Upper Flisk and more in beautiful North East Fife. Also the occasional wander.

Wheat Harvest Logie North Fife
Wheat Harvest at Logie Farm North Fife, a long rainy summer, the wettest I've known, causing the most amazing growth of vegetation particularly weeds. Fortunately just at the right time we are enjoying a dry windy sunny spell, I imagine the yields will be very good. Climate change has severely affected agricultural produce this year notably potatoes in this area with too much water, drought in America affecting corn and soya.
Swings and roundabouts.
Eventually there won't be enough to go round, millions of people starving in many countries already. Given our lifestyle we really do fiddle as Rome burns.
Right now in Europe we are experiencing austerity, less income with rising commodity prices partly caused by speculators busy making more money at the expense of the rest of us. The wealthy of course tend to be those in power who look after themselves. I sincerely wish they develop empathy.
