Fly fishing at Loch mill North Fife July 2009.
Loch Mill about 1 mile from the town sits higher up protected by surrounding hills and provides a very tranquil place to fly-fish, the sound of silence interrupted by bird calls, the occasional bleat from sheep and the splash and plop of jumping fish.
Loch-mill Newburgh. The loch is well stocked with rainbow and brown trout.
Damsel flies mate and dart hither and thither in courtship, lay eggs on water plants above multitudes of sticklebacks and other loch life.
Two visitors tackle up, at first choosing a damsel fly lure. The half day permits can be purchased "Last Orders" a covenience store on Newburgh High Street.
