North Fife Happy New Year
It is a strong tradition in Scotland to first foot on New Years Day, that means one can go anywhere and call on anyone to wish a happy new year with maybe a dram or two to offer. Snacks and beverage would be at hand or quickly made ready to any caller. A very community spirited activity of putting oneself about or welcoming any callers. Anyway, this is a jovial message to us all.
