A Thangka (painting) by Sherab Palden Beru of Shing Kyong, protector of Dewachen. zhing skyong kun dga' gzhon nu, a dharma protector particularly popular with the Nyingma and Kagyu schools. Closely associated with the lineage of the Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoches and their monastery of Benchen. He is also considered to be the protector of Dewachen (bde ba chen), the pure realm of the buddha Amitabha. He is considered an emanation of the Four-armed Mahakala (ye shes kyi mgon po phyag bzhi pa) who in turn is an emanation of the yidam Chakrasamvara. His "seat" is at the sacred mountain of Tsari.
